THE "RETREAT YOURSELF" SERIES

The "Retreat Yourself" Series was originally designed as a (completely FREE) tool for you to use during these trialling times we are facing as individuals and as a collective.
A way for you to move your body, calm the mind and soothe your soul even whilst in quarantine or self-isolation during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The launch of the Retreat Yourself Series was SUCH a success, that I had SO many people asking for it to be available longer.
So, ask and shall you shall receive - you spoke, and I listened.
Here is a brief overview of the schedule and the daily classes of yoga, mindfulness, meditation and even a fun movement and recipe is included!
For those of you who are new, welcome!
Enjoy using these as you like.
Perhaps following it day-by-day, or sprinkling little bits here and there.
They are a gift from my heart to yours, in the hopes it will help us to heal and connect both to ourselves, and each other.
I've had the help of two psychologists, with specialist experience in the area of mindfulness therapy, who have kindly helped me in creating some of the content. One of these women, is my beautiful Mum, Judy. And another beautiful soul, Cass.
Thank you to my Mum and Cass for all your help and support and choosing to be a part of this.

No more rambling, here are the links for you to Re-treat yourself!

FULL PROGRAM:

A quick note on journaling:

A big part of my personal mental health and happiness is aided by the use of daily journaling. I find it is a simple way to get everything out of my head, and away from the vicious cycle of potential over-thinking. Of course, you are more than welcome to write about what you like! But if you are lost for ideas, linked below is a daily "journaling prompt".

You don't need to print out the journal prompts, (although you can if you like), all you need to do is read it, sit on it for a while, and then write down your thoughts and feelings in your own journal or on any bit of spare paper you can find! Just get it OUT of your being, and I bet you'll instantly feel 10x lighter!

P.S If you want to try something SUPER yummy…

Papaya Inspo: https://bit.ly/39GjBgJ

I had it for breakfast yesterday. Grab a papaya (A full one if it is small, or a half one if extra large one), slice in half, empty the seeds with a spoon and fill with coconut yoghurt (coyo), chopped fruits (I chose fresh figs), sprinkle seed mix all over (buckinis, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, flax seeds) and then drizzle with honey and add a big dollop of your favourite nut butter (I chose coconut and cashew butter which I get from the bulk food store)!

I know some of you won’t have all of these ingredients in your cupboard but I encourage you to make something healthy, delicious and hella nutritious this morning! You can always save this idea for another day :) OR improvise, and use what ingredients you DO already have in the kitchen. Add on some ingredients, take away others, become curious, inventive and creative with the flavours you use!

Day 3

Yoga - Power Flow (50 mins)

We’ve got a fun power flow today. The aim is to get you motivated, feeling energised and even a little sweaty. Feel free to do as much as you can.

Mindfulness - Sensory Visualisation (12 mins)

Sometimes it can be difficult to break away from our daily life and visit the places or spaces that recharge our soul. Today’s visualisation, led by an amazing psychologist named Cass, enables you to recreate those places in your mind and leads you through a full sensory experience.

Day 4

Self Massage (28 Mins)

Today I invite you to join me on one of my favourite practices. This is something very sacred and sensual to me, and I HOPE it resonates as deeply with you.

Especially at this time, this is the physical touch element we have all been deprived of.

Optional Flow (45 Min)

There is no allocated yoga today, it is a suggested rest day. But of course if your body is open and receptive to a bit of flow/movement or you are joining late in the retreat here is a 45 min class I have had on youtube for a while (this is one of the public's favourite flows!) and it does say intermediate, but I have had a bunch of beginners say they completed it and LOVED it!
