The Black Dog Institute uses donations to fund development of technology (Apps and websites), training and education for professionals, research and community programs. As someone who has been through Depression and Anxiety first hand, I cannot help but resonate strongly with this cause and organisation. And considering that an average of 1 in 4 people struggle with some kind of mental health disorder at some stage in their lives, it is something that we should all be aware of and consciously making improvements and changes; raising awareness of the things that truly matter. Our mental health being one if those!
